About the
Project
This watercolor series captures the human figure as part of a shared movement, where individuality dissolves into collective
presence.
The figures, rendered in translucent shades of blue, appear suspended between motion and stillness, suggesting discipline, resistance and silent determination.

The
Vision
Stripped of facial features and personal identity, the bodies become symbols rather than portraits. Their gestures and postures speak of unity, tension and interdependence — a group moving forward together, bound by an unseen force. The repetition of form creates rhythm, while subtle variations reveal vulnerability within structure.
The
Process
The fluid nature of watercolor plays a central role in the narrative. Soft edges, layered washes and visible brushstrokes introduce uncertainty and emotion, contrasting with the implied strength and control of the figures. This balance reflects the fragile line between endurance and exhaustion, order and human sensitivity.
Rather than depicting a specific moment or conflict, the series explores the emotional landscape of collective experience — the quiet strength found in unity, the weight of shared purpose, and the unspoken stories carried within every step forward.
